Reporting corruption can carry risks. Take these steps to protect yourself.
Personal Safety
- Tell someone you trust what you are doing.
- Do not confront the people you are reporting.
- If you are threatened, call 112 and inform the authority handling your complaint.
Phones and Computers
- Lock your phone with a strong PIN.
- Keep your phone, computer and apps up to date.
- Turn on two-step verification for your email and messaging accounts.
- Do not use shared or office devices to make a report.
- Do not post details of your case on social media.
Avoid Fraud
- ACAI never asks for money to file, process or track a report.
- Never share one-time passwords (OTPs), passwords or bank details.
- If you are unsure whether someone represents ACAI, call +91 97195 55500 or check the National Registry.
ACAI's only official social media accounts are facebook.com/abbusind and instagram.com/abbusind. Be cautious of other accounts using the ACAI name.
